Our Story
Founded in 2026 out of Mumbai by Akil Kapadia and Taufiq Sopariwala, Gazwan Coco Charcoal was built around a simple frustration familiar to anyone who’s set up a hookah: too much of the charcoal on the market burns unevenly, leaves excess ash, or simply doesn’t perform the same way twice. We set out to fix that — sourcing natural coconut shell and natural wood charcoal, testing it batch by batch, and building a range that lounges and home smokers alike could rely on session after session.
